Description

A01M encompasses apparatus and methods for capturing, controlling, or eliminating animals and unwanted plants, covering both intentional wildlife management and pest control applications. This subclass includes mechanical traps, snares, nets, and similar devices for capturing live animals; scaring or deterrent mechanisms such as acoustic or visual repellents; and machinery designed to destroy harmful organisms including insects, rodents, weeds, and other agricultural pests. The classification spans from traditional hunting and trapping equipment to modern integrated pest management systems and agricultural implements used for plant destruction.
