Description
A22B covers machines, apparatus, and methods for the slaughter of animals intended for meat production. This classification encompasses stunning equipment, restraining devices, blood collection systems, and mechanical aids that facilitate the killing and initial processing of livestock such as cattle, pigs, poultry, and other food animals. It includes both conventional slaughter techniques and alternative humane killing methods, but excludes subsequent meat cutting, dressing, or further processing operations, which fall under related A22C classifications.
