Description

B44F covers the creation and production of special designs, patterns, and pictures produced through decorative techniques, including methods for creating ornamental visual effects on surfaces or materials. This subclass encompasses processes and apparatus for producing decorative artwork such as stenciling, spraying techniques, and other application methods that create distinctive visual designs. The classification includes both the technical means of design application and the resulting decorative products, but excludes general painting or drawing methods (covered in B44B) and printing technologies (covered under other B41 classes).
