Description

D06J covers mechanical and thermal processes for creating permanent or temporary pleats, kilts, and goffered patterns in textile fabrics and finished garments. This classification includes equipment and methods for forming, setting, and finishing these decorative or structural fabric formations through pressing, folding, and heat treatment. Processes for both natural and synthetic fibers fall within this scope, as do techniques applied to finished wearing apparel.
