Description

E05G covers the design and construction of secure storage systems and protective barriers for valuables and banking operations. This includes safes, strong-rooms, vaults, and related containment structures engineered to resist unauthorized access, theft, and forced entry. The class also encompasses bank protection devices such as security partitions, protective enclosures at transaction counters, and similar safety structures used in financial institutions and high-security environments. Excluded are locks and locking mechanisms themselves (covered in E05B) and general door or window fittings without a security function (covered in E05D).
