Description

A43D encompasses machines, tools, equipment, and processes used in footwear manufacturing and repair operations. This includes machinery for sole attachment, heel installation, lasting, stitching, and shaping of shoe components, as well as hand tools and manual techniques employed in footwear production and restoration. The subclass covers both industrial-scale manufacturing equipment and repair shop facilities, excluding the finished footwear itself (A43B, A43C) and general shoemaking materials (A43C).
