Description
B60D covers mechanical coupling systems and connections between vehicles or between vehicles and trailers, including hitches, drawbars, fifth wheels, and kingpins. This subclass encompasses the structural design, fastening mechanisms, and load-bearing components that enable vehicles to be connected for towing or articulated operation. It includes innovations in coupling geometry, safety devices, and adjustment mechanisms for different vehicle types and weight distributions.
