Glossary

Feature features a significant image region or pixel with certain characteristics, for example a feature point, landmark, edge, corner or blob, typically determined by image operators. Image analysis the extraction of information from images through the use of image processing techniques acting upon image data, such as intensity, colour, motion and spatial frequency characteristics.
