Description

H01P covers the design, construction, and components of waveguides and waveguide-based devices used to transmit electromagnetic waves, primarily in microwave and millimeter-wave frequency ranges. This includes hollow metallic waveguides, coaxial transmission lines, dielectric waveguides, and integrated waveguide structures on circuit boards or substrates. Waveguide type As applied to transmission lines, this term includes only high-frequency coaxial cables or Lecher lines, and as applied to resonators, delay lines, or other devices, this term includes all devices having distributed inductance and capacitance.
