Description
This subclass covers the design, construction, and operation of mechanical amusement devices and rides intended for public entertainment, including rotating platforms (merry-go-rounds), suspended or pivoting seating systems (swings), simulated animal rides (rocking-horses), gravity-based chutes, and track-based switchback rides. The classification encompasses structural components, drive mechanisms, safety features, and control systems specific to these ride types, as well as related novelty devices and fairground attractions. It specifically excludes gaming machines, vending devices, and non-mechanical entertainment equipment, which are covered elsewhere in the A63 class.
