H10K

ORGANIC ELECTRIC SOLID-STATE DEVICES

Introduced: January 2023

Description

H10K covers organic semiconductor devices and organic electronic components where active or passive electrical function is achieved through organic materials rather than conventional inorganic semiconductors. This includes organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic photovoltaic cells, organic field-effect transistors, and organic integrated circuits fabricated from carbon-based compounds such as conjugated polymers or small-molecule organics. The classification encompasses the materials, structures, manufacturing processes, and device architectures specific to organic electronics, excluding inorganic semiconductor devices covered elsewhere in the H10 series.

Of 15 combined children, 11 exist in both systems.

2 codes are CPC-only extensions, 2 exist only in IPC.

Note: 2 CPC extensions are marked as secondary classification only.

8 shared codes have differing titles between IPC and CPC.
